🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️ Mansfield Marathon 2025 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️

Perfect conditions greeted BRG at Mansfield this morning for the Mansfield Marathon. There were some brilliant results along the flat and fast Great Victorian Rail Trail:

🚀Oscar and Andrew both got a PB in the half marathon.

🚀Emma cruised home in her first 1/2 marathon since welcoming baby Percy... A post-partum PB (a PPPB!)

🚀Josh took nearly a full minute off his PB to take 3rd place in the 10km.

🚀Gen and Scott both smashed a 10km PB.

🚀Jacqui zoomed through the finish line of the 5km with a new PB.

Well done to everyone who participated today, and for a beautiful post run picnic with our loved ones.

❄️ Chilly Sunday Trail ❄️

For this month's Sunday trail run, BRG braved a very fresh summer morning at the top of Mount Buffalo 🥶🗻

Cold fingers and toes aside, we were treated to some beautiful views atop Mount Dunn and the surrounds of Lake Catani. We refueled with some delicious homemade goodies at the Chalet before heading home.

For this month's Sunday trail run, BRG braved a very fresh summer morning at the top of Mount Buffalo 🥶🗻

This morning, Benalla Running Group came together with our families for our first Christmas Party at Winton Wetlands.

A 7am run was followed by a shared breakfast, and what a feast it was!

Starting this week, BRG will meet at 9.30am on Thursday mornings. This will be in addition to our regular Monday and Wednesday runs, giving you more opportunities to get moving.

This run will only operate during the cooler months, and will meet at the bottom of the Art Gallery Ramp. See you there!
